CRIPPS Update

Hi Family,

I'm finally writing a family update for the BLOG. Thanks
Sally for
doing it, I love to look over it and listen to the great
music on it.
The pictures are the best!

We just got back from Arizona early this morning. Todd's
step-dadpassed away last Tuesday morning (at the same
time little JamesOliphant was born - I'm sure they passed
each other coming to and from the earth). His name was
Kent Romney and he was such a wonderful person!! He died
of congestive heart failure (CHF),lung fibroisis (caused
by a medication he was given for the CHF)and kidney
failure. His funeral was wonderful, we learned so much
more about him - that was the one thing we regretted is
that we only got 5 years to spend with him and learn from
him, he really was a very kind, humble, person with such
a strong testimony of the Savior. Kathy (Todd's mom) and
he had a wonderful 5 years together, it's too bad it
couldn't have been longer. While we were there we also got
to spend some time with Todd's Dad and step-mom, Susan.
She has pancreatic cancer and was given about 6 months to
live.It is so sad - she is so great! it was wonderful to
be with her but bitter-sweet because we thought this might
be the lasttime with her. life sure is fleeting! We've got
to LIVE every day and LOVE those around us and be HAPPY!

Jordan and Danielle are doing good, they will both be
finishing up school in the next couple weeks then it's
time for summer!
Jordan will be starting football practice soon for
high school and is excited about EFY but he'll also be
doing some summer school too, so we've got to figure
it all out. Danielle started horse back riding lessons
(English style) a couple weeks ago and she is loving
it of course - she's totally in her element there with
the horses. I'll have to send some pictures of her on
"her" horse, Blaze when I get some.

Todd and I are busy with our family, work and church
and the yard - we've been changing and planting a lot
and it's coming along but there's still so much to do-
there always is huh?
